Billable time reports

Time tracking records the work. Reports turn that history into an answer you can check—without rates, pay, earnings, or currency.
Classify each block
Section titled “Classify each block”Every time block has one explicit state:
- Billable — hours you may invoice in another system.
- Non-billable — internal, administrative, learning, or otherwise non-invoiced hours.
The classification belongs to the whole block, including every pause/resume segment. It is independent of the activity and linked Tasks.
Personal report
Section titled “Personal report”Your report keeps the selected date, activity, and All / Billable / Non-billable filters aligned across the list and charts. It includes:
- total, billable, and non-billable hours
- billable percentage and prior-period comparison
- activity and primary-project breakdowns
- daily trend and heatmap
- overlap warnings
- weekly goal progress, always based on all tracked hours
You can toggle billable directly on an entry you may edit. That quick action changes the existing block; it never creates a replacement.
Exact entries
Section titled “Exact entries”The report shows the exact blocks behind your totals, including start, end, duration, billable state, activity, note, primary Task/project, and overlap warning. A multi-Task block counts once in the personal report.
Overlaps are honest
Section titled “Overlaps are honest”Overlapping blocks remain in the total because both entries may describe real work. The report flags them rather than silently deleting or deduplicating time, so the owner can correct the source row.
Access
Section titled “Access”- Every full member can see and edit their own time.
- No role, policy, capability, client, API, MCP tool, or agent widens that ownership boundary.
- Track time — start, pause, log, classify, and edit.
- Roles and permissions — grant one workspace responsibility without making someone an admin.
